P.S. I've been asked by a few people, what can you send me? I posted a list of "favorite things" on my profile, which can be accessed on the main page. Notice how it is mostly food. Everything else you can just buy here, essentially...

Hi Mary,
Sorry if took so long to actually get a responce out to you. Mark and I have been reading your blog every couple of days. Mark, Little G and I are doing well. She finally cut her 1st tooth so we are on our way now!!!
Sounds like I should spend some extended time in China, it would certainly shrink my waistline. I know that finding food to eat for me would be a struggle.
We have been roasting the past few days with temps in the 90's and high humidity. Thankfully we have been able to spend time floating in the lake. Even Greta has participated in floating. She is really starting to dig the water and it is pretty funny.
I have some feedback on the baby monitor, no wait... it's Greta. She has been expressing herself with very high pitched squeels. Our little song bird has woken up so I better get going. I'll check back in soon. Take care and be safe. We miss you terribly!!

hey mary:

Thinks in MN and ZR are same as usual. We are going on the Al/Alma's boat cruise today, you will be missed. All the partners are in town for meetings, so the boat is going to be crowded and lively! Quite the dramatic group of kids...oh, just imagine, Mary!

It sounds like you are enjoying the food and friends of China. I imagine you are taller than most of the people around you. I would think that would seem strange at first and then become normal.

I am getting ready to complete my second triathalon. It should be interesting as this summer has proved a little slow in training and hot in weather. At least I will get a cool tee-shirt.

I am already planning the package for you. So many wonderful things to choose from, I will not know where to start.

Take care of yourself and watch out for all that Coke and your dental care. I would suspect there is no floride in China's water! Oh, the humanity!! I suppose the absence of preservatives and processed foods might make up for the increase in sugar. So, scratch that, drink the COKE, revel in the Coke and enjoy your time in PRC!

love you,
carrie
