He and She
So call this the poetry edition of my blog...I'm still plowing through portfolios, and I'm just so pleased with a lot of what my students wrote. From Joanna:
He and She
He is wind, and she is sand.
Wind blows and sand flows.
The sand flies and the wind follow[s].
She is a flower, and he is a leaf.
The flower is beautiful and the leaf is charming.
The flower withers and the leaf yellows.
He is a string and she is a kite.
The kite flies with string's support.
She is a fish and he is water.
His life is wonderful for her existence.
He and she,
they love each other ceaselessly.
